The Northern beaches starts just north of the city and spreads out to over 26km. Each beach has it's own beauty and presence. Probably the most well known of the beaches would be Palm Cove. With major stores located at the Pier market place near the esplanade in the city center and our latest shopping attraction 'Cairns Central' will also be found in the city area. You will also find the Smithfield shopping center catering for the northern beaches. For the serious shopper you can also visit some of our other major shopping centers at Earlville, Westcourt and Festival Faire.
